Keas, a species of parrot, are known for their intelligence, curiosity, and skill at fleecing humans. They carry away unguarded items of clothing, pry apart rubber parts of cars (e.g., windshield wiper blades, window gaskets) and --when necessary -- work in teams. They have the ability to solve logical puzzles, such as pushing and pulling things in a certain order to get food. Beyond that, they're gorgeous. The underside of their variegated green wings is a vivid orange.
